Selenge Enkhtuvshin is a BYU–Hawaii alumna from Mongolia. She attended from 2005-2009.

Why did you choose to come to BYUH?


“I chose to come to BYUH because it offers the perfect blend of academic excellence and spiritual enrichment. Being a member of the Church, I was fortunate to have the Church sponsor my studies here. BYUH's reputation for providing quality education within a faith-centered environment was exactly what I was looking for.”

How was your BYUH experience?

“My experience at BYUH was truly transformative. The vibrant cultural diversity provided a rich environment for personal growth and learning. Engaging with students from around the world broadened my perspectives and deepened my understanding of different cultures. The emphasis on service and leadership also helped me develop valuable skills that I continue to utilize in both my personal and professional life. Overall, my time at BYUH was filled with meaningful experiences, lifelong friendships, and invaluable lessons that have shaped who I am today. Moreover, the spiritual environment at BYUH provided a strong foundation for personal and moral development.”

Where are you working and what is your role?

“For the past 15 years, I have dedicated my career to serving in the capacity of occupational health and safety manager within a prominent gold mining company based in Mongolia.”
