Dr. Chan and Sister Lei Cummings, manager of the BYU–Hawaii Alumni Office, recently returned from a successful trip to Guangzhou and Hong Kong, where they hosted a well-received alumni professional development conference and met with several companies and international schools in both cities. These organizations have expressed a strong interest in hiring BYU–Hawaii interns, both Chinese and non-Chinese students.
Students seeking valuable professional experience in Greater China are encouraged to attend this upcoming seminar. Internship opportunities are especially relevant for students majoring in accounting, business, media and communication, computer science, education, English, entrepreneurship, hospitality and tourism, information systems and technology, Chinese, and TESOL.
