Associate professor and director, Centre for Information Technology in Education, the University of Hong Kong
Gary K.W. Wong is a proud alumnus of Brigham Young University–Hawaii, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science and mathematics—an experience that laid the foundation for his lifelong pursuit of knowledge, service and innovation.
He currently serves as the director of the Centre for Information Technology in Education and associate professor at the University of Hong Kong, where he leads interdisciplinary research and digital education initiatives that impact learning and policy across the region.
Wong’s academic journey reflects a passion for lifelong learning and global collaboration. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in computer science from City University of Hong Kong, a Master of Philosophy in electronic and computer engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, a Master of Laws in information technology and intellectual property law from the University of Hong Kong, and a Master of Education in learning design and leadership from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he is currently completing a Doctor of Education. He also holds a professional certificate from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and is a Fellow of Advance HE.
As program director of the Bachelor of Science in information management and an award-winning educator, Wong is known for his leadership in educational technology, deeper learning and digital transformation in education. He is a bridge-builder between disciplines and sectors and continues to embody the BYU–Hawaii spirit of learning, leadership and service with a global vision.

黃家偉教授是楊百翰大學夏威夷校區的傑 出校友，在該校取得電腦科學與數學理學士學位，為他一生追求知識、服務與創新的旅程奠定了堅實基礎。
現任香港大學資訊科技教育中心（Centre for Information Technology in Education, CITE）主任及教育學院副教授，黃教授領導多項跨學科研究與數位教育計畫，對區域內的教與學政策產生深遠影響。
黃教授的學術歷程體現出他對終身學習與全球協作的熱忱。他擁有香港城市大學電腦科學博士學位、香港科技大學電子與電腦工程哲學碩士學位、香港大學資訊科技與知識產權法律碩士（LL.M.）學位、美國伊利諾大學香檳分校（UIUC）學習設計與領導教育碩士（Ed.M.）學位，目前正於該校攻讀教育博士（Ed.D.）。此外，他亦獲得哈佛大學教育研究院的專業證書，並為英國高等教育學會院士（Fellow of Advance HE, FHEA）。
