Qiuyuan Liu is a BYU–Hawaii alumna from Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, China. She graduated in the Class of 2024.
What were some activities/clubs/jobs that you were involved with?
“I was the vice president of the Badminton Club. I assisted with Culture Night for the China Club. I also attended different clubs, such as Taiwan and Hong Kong clubs.”
Why did you choose to come to BYUH?
“BYUH has the major that I wanted to study, which is the TESOL Program. Also, studying at BYUH has always been my dream since I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.”
How has BYUH blessed your life?
“It blessed my life in every aspect. For example, I got educated at BYUH through the IWORK program, which helped me financially from the stress of studying internationally in the United States.”
What does the mission of BYUH mean to you?
“It means a lot to me because it reminds me over and over again that I need to go forth to serve others from what I have learned in this wonderful school.”
