Alumni Spotlight: Simeon and Margaret Vance
For Simeon (IS, ’05) and Margaret (TESOL, ’02) Vance, coming to Brigham Young University–Hawaii gave them the opportunity to become closer to their family roots. Simeon’s fourth great-grandfather, Simeon Adams Dunn, was one of the first missionaries in the South Seas mission. In 1850, he was called by Brigham Young to serve in the Polynesian Islands.
