Why did you choose to come to BYUH?
My dad was born and raised in Laie plus his grandparents and parents were part of the “early pioneers” of PCC. My mom brought my siblings and I to Laie after my dad passed away and from that time on, I knew I wanted to somehow be a part of Laie, BYUH and PCC just like my ancestors had been.
What does the mission of BYUH mean to you?
I feel like I learned so much at BYUH, beyond the academic side. I grew and stretched myself in ways that I don’t think I could have anywhere else. I hope that because of who I became at BYUH, I can bless the lives of others.
How has BYUH blessed your life?
I have friends from all over the world! I’m especially lucky that we all became friends in the social media age because we still keep in touch no matter where we are in the world.
