Early Years in Hilo, Hawaii

Born and raised in the beautiful town of Hilo, Hawaii, I spent my formative years surrounded by the rich culture and traditions of the islands.

Career in Preserving Hawaiian Heritage

After completing my education, I pursued my passion for preserving and sharing Hawaiian heritage by working as a Hawaiian Studies Resource Teacher for many fulfilling years.

Missionary Service in Oklahoma Tulsa Mission

In addition to my career, my life has been deeply rooted in service and faith. I dedicated a significant portion of my life as a full-time missionary in the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission, where I had the privilege of spreading the teachings of Christ and faith and connecting with diverse communities. One of the most rewarding experiences of my life was serving as a companion to a Mission President, supporting and assisting in the leadership of a mission. This role allowed me to witness firsthand the transformative power of faith and service in the lives of others. My commitment to service extended beyond my missionary work. I have held various leadership positions, including serving as a Primary President, guiding the youngest members in their spiritual growth, and as a Young Women's President, mentoring teenage girls as they navigate their faith and life's challenges. Currently, I find fulfillment in my role as an ordinance worker.

Family Life

My greatest joy comes from being a parent to six wonderful children and a grandparent to seventeen cherished grandchildren. They bring endless love and laughter into my life, reminding me of the importance of family and connection. Through my various roles and experiences, I have found purpose in serving others, nurturing faith, and preserving cultural heritage. Each chapter of my life has been marked by moments of growth, learning, and profound gratitude for the blessings that surround me.
